Departments
Please have all items to be picked up at the curb by 6:00 am. Bi-County will make one trip through town. Each appliance, computer monitor, television, or tire to be picked up will require a sticker.
Only Cash or Check payment accepted.
Stickers can be purchased at City Hall. DEADLINE TO PURCHASE AT CITY HALL is Friday, April 24th at 11:00am
***Items that won't be picked up: yard waste, stockpiled daily garbage, rocks, concrete, large amounts of building and construction materials, railroad ties, paint (unless the can is completely dried out and open), chemicals, motor oil, shingles, fencing, fluorescent bulbs
The Wheels/Handles on new cans must be facing the house and the opening of the lid must face the road. Please keep the cans at least two feet apart and away from mailboxes and other obstructions. Please have cans out by 6:00am.
Refuse (City Residents)
charged at a flat rate of $16.48per month.
$1.25 stickers are available for additional refuse. Purchase at City Hall (Cash or Check payments only), Peosta Community Centre reception desk, Steve's Ace (Peosta) Casey's, Kwik Stop, and Fareway
Recycling
included in the flat rate of $16.48
Recycling is picked up weekly on Thursday at the same time refuse is picked up.
Yard Waste
no fees but on the resident to manage.
