Deputy Clerk

The City of Peosta, Iowa, is accepting resumes for the position of Deputy Clerk. The Deputy Clerk is responsible for utility billing, accounts payable, assisting in preparing Council agendas and attending Council meetings as requested by the City Clerk and City Administrator.  The Deputy Clerk will move into the Clerk position within the next three years.

The successful candidates must have a high school diploma and three years of experience in accounting or administrative support.  Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
